BoBen Designs is at the center of downtown. On any given night, even during Covid-19 restrictions, people come to the main street to get some air, enjoy some outdoor dining, or get some coffee.
We like it so much that we thought we’d share a little bit of history and some fun facts.
1. Danville is the safest city in California
The Town of Danville is home to more than 42,000 residents and was voted the safest city in California in 2020. Located in the San Ramon valley, Danville has become home base for our jewelry store, and for good reason.
2. Danville is a mini France in CA
Coming to Danville, visitors will instantly feel the vibe of a Western-style town with the vintage romantic look. Many of Danville’s historical buildings are still in use today. Unlike modern high streets, our community does its best to preserve as much of its history as possible. The Grange Hall built in 1874 still exists today, along with the original Danville Hotel which was recently renovated in 2016.
Danville’s commitment to preserving well-crafted architecture is in keeping with our store’s own design philosophy. We don’t only make jewelry that will look good on the wearer, we also make pieces that will last for generations to come.
3. You won't need AC in Danville
On most days, our doors are propped open to welcome visitors, but also to enjoy the weather. The climate is considered Mediterranean, with mild daytime temperatures that allow for a welcome breeze. Just enough to keep the shop cool.
4. Danville people are... rich
For more than 130 years, Danville has evolved from agriculturally centered to a well-rounded area with commercial and residential prospects. According to Business Insider, Danville is ranked the 14th wealthiest city in America, with the second highest income rates with populations of at least 40,000. So, you won't have to worry about whether consumers in Danville can afford your product.
Danville’s economic prosperity is due to hard work and dedicated residents who have forged a community that welcomes everyone.
